Trolex has long been a pioneer in industrial safety technology.
Our 50 years of experience within the heavy industrial sectors has meant creating solutions capable of working in some of the most challenging environments on Earth. Organisations across the world have benefitted from Trolex’s state-of-the-art safety technology to protect workers, resources and their business.
It comes with great pleasure then to announce that Trolex will be the overall event and awards sponsor for HazardEx 2019 – the longest established hazardous area event of its kind.
The jam-packed two-day event will take place on February 27-28 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire and will join leading hazardous industry companies, government agencies, certification bodies and senior engineers together to share knowledge and celebrate excellence.
Trolex will be showcasing two of its most advanced safety solutions at stand 7 during HazardEx 2019:
- Air XD real-time dust monitor – the first of its kind in the industry, the Air XD provides a new generation of dust monitoring that uses highly advanced laser technology to monitor the full spectrum of dust or silica particles simultaneously to improve the accuracy and delivery time of data
- Falcon Series Ex Connectors – offering a simple ‘plug-in, plug-out’ connection, the Falcon Series Ex Connectors drastically reduce downtime and remove the need for powering down of key components. The solutions reduce usual assembly time from hours to a matter of minutes without the need for specialist tools or equipment
Matthew Cliffe, Technnology Lead at Trolex, will also be giving a presentation on Optical Particle Characterisation on the first day of the event. The talk will explain the real-time particulate characterisation technology featured in the Air XD solution which provides continuous data on the concentration and size makeup of airborne particulate matter.
Speaking on the conference, Glyn Jones, Group CEO at Trolex, said: “HazardEx 2019 is a major conference in the hazardous industrial sector. Over the years, the event has provided valuable insight into challenges around these industries and has highlighted companies that are making strides in improving workplace health and safety. It gives us immense pleasure to sponsor the event this year and present the next generation of safety solutions to organisations across the world.”
HazardEx 2019 will also feature workshops, free seminar content, a networking dinner and awards ceremony to help provide industry intelligence and information for attendees.
Exhibitors and speakers for this year’s conference include representatives from EDF Energy, The Institution of Chemical Engineers (ICE), The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and more.
