BBUGS and BOHOGS will hold a joint supplier and consultant day meeting at the Capella Cultural Centre, November 24, 2016. BBUGS is the Bowen Basin Underground Geotechnical Society based in the Bowen Basin in Queensland, Australia. BBUGS is a society where geotechnical engineers can share experience in a friendly environment.The day will be filled with open cut and underground geotechnical presentations in simultaneous sessions. Suppliers will have tables to display their products and information. Annual attendance awards, Practitioner of the year award, presentation of the year award and door prizes will be handed out. BOHOGS awards for Practitioner of the Year, Presentation of the Year and door prises will be awarded.
The Bowen Basin Underground Geotechnical Society Inc. (BBUGS) is a non-profit organisation with the aims of providing a friendly and confidential forum for mutual technical development, networking, expanding and sharing knowledge, special interest identification, specialist recognition, establishment of national links, expert opinion and influence in relation to the field of geotechnical engineering in the underground coal mines of the Bowen Basin.
